The Saddleworth Hotel

Last week we celebrated our niece's wedding at this unique and special venue. The weather was kind so the ceremony was set in it's beautiful garden surrounded by incredible views. Throughout the day nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and attentive staff. All the food was delicious, beautifully presented and accompanied by enchanting music played on the piano by a young lady. We did not stay in the hotel but others from our party highly praised. This venue is absolutely incredible. I’ve now been to two weddings here and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a proper hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Saddleworth, you honestly wouldn’t expect it to be quite so impressive from the outside. Inside, the décor is tasteful, elegant, and beautifully thought out. There’s a stunning balcony that overlooks the main dining area, and the outdoor space is massive, perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, but he handled it really politely and respectfully. It's easy as a business owner to become jaded and not speak to people as individuals or talk down to them, but he's obviously a good dude and gives people the benefit of the doubt.

Held our daughter’s wedding here and the only word to describe it is ‘perfect’. The team couldn’t do enough and the hotel is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped and the food lovely. We even had good weather on the day. Would 100% recommend.

I got married here yesterday and omg, they’ve thought of everything. It was a beautiful day, we were treated like royalty. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make you feel special and looked after. Charlotte & Dani are lovely genuine people and welcome you with open arms. AJ make sure you arrive in style and with some dry wit en route. The grounds are kept spotless and the rooms are cleaned spectacularly. Not one thing I could fault. Thank you for making our day perfect

We attended a wedding last night here, WOW!!!! What a stunning place! Picturesque location, attentive happy bar staff and beer prices reasonable to considering its a top rated hotel.

Had the pleasure of attending my nephew's wedding day at the Saddleworth Hotel. 25 July. Wonderful day. Beautiful outdoor ceremony. Delicious meal and food throughout the day. The staff were just great. Everything perfect. Lovely rooms with fantastic views. Would highly recommend

Attended a wedding reception and thought the location was beautiful and very classy. The decor was lovely and the gardens were equally as impressive. Didn't give 5 stars as there was only 1 small bar which wasn't enough for the amount of guests attending.

The biggest of thank yous to the team for letting us have our companies AGM with them in May. What an amazing experience we had from start to finish! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the views WOW, the room was set up perfectly exactly as required, the food and drink from start to finish was exceptional (everything was so tasty from the pastries in the morning to the delicious home cooked lunch buffet) and the service simply made the day what it was, it's been a long time since I've had service like that where you feel truly cared for. The owner's family were all a joy to meet and chat to and this personal feel made the day all the more special for the team. Keep doing what you're doing, what you've created is truly special! We can't wait to return soon! Would definitely recommend for any businesses looking to have their AGM - we went for a lovely walk in the day in the countryside directly from the hotel. Gorgeous views!!!!
